Sephora was kind enough to send me the DiorShow PumpNVolume Instant Volume Squeezable Mascara and I’ve used this for 6 weeks so here’s my opinion.
The description from the company’s website : Creates instant volume with the simple power of a squeeze. By pumping the soft tube, you generously coat the brush and soften the creamy, rich mascara formula inside for a perfect, fresh application, every time. The special bounce-effect brush features ultra-supple bristles that load lashes in a single sweep, creating daring, pumped-up volume without clumping. This is lash volume pushed to the extreme.
The packaging to me is gimmicky and the plastic is hard so squeezing isn’t really happening. I don’t have brute hand strength I guess. The brush isn’t similar to the original DiorShow but thinner and held formula between the bristles so initial application was clumpy and heavy to me. I would have to clean the brush and comb through my lashes to separate them and clean them up. The formula seems to be the same as the original DiorShow which I love. I can see people with thicker fuller lashes loving this mascara but it was too much work for me to make it look good. I also use the Surratt Beauty eye lash curler to give my lashes lift and curl.
For reference my favorite mascaras are Dior DiorShow, Guerlain Maxi Lash, and Chanel Le Volume.
