I was always a firm believer in the concept of 5 million steps to hydration and glowing skin. When starting the KHUS + KHUS journey I was a bit worried about the simplicity of the rotuine being able to give my skin the hydration it needs. Eeeesh, have a little faith Dallas, right? And so we begin…

Last month I took my 30 plus skin to Las Vegas for an extended weekend of little sleep, dry desert climate, and indulging in the amazing food right at my fingertips. That said, I stayed hydrated with water, kept on with my strict skincare routine, and took all my health supplements. Not too bad right? I guess with age does come wisdom. I planned ahead knowing I would be starting new products when I got home so I booked a hydrafacial for my return and immedialty started KHUS+KHUS.

Hamamelis Virginiana* (Witch Hazel Extract), Helichrysum Italicum* (Immortelle), Hydrolat, Helichrysum Italicum* (Helichrysum), Tanacetum Annuum* (Blue Tansy), Chamomilla Matricaria* (German Chamomile)– NON-GMO certified, *Denotes Organic, +Sustainably Wild Harvested

An ingredient I want to highlight because it’s a powerhouse in its own right.

Blue Tansy (or Moroccan Chamomile) – Like most, I’m attracted to the aromatic calming scent of Blue Tansy. This essential oil is doing amazing things for me including reducing redness, soothing my skin, and giving me a heavy dose of antioxidants.

The smell is herbal, giving me hydration while calming and working wonderfully to help facilitate absorbing the next step, the Face Serum.

Helichrysum Italicum* (Helichrysum), Tanacetum Annuum* (Blue Tansy), Chamomilla Matricaria* (German Chamomile), Rosa Canina* (Rosehip Co2), Hippophae Rhamnoides* (Sea Buckthorn Co2), Sclerocarya Birrea+ (Marula Oil), Adansonia Digitata* (Baobab Seed Oil), Argania Spinosa* (Argan Oil), Vitamin E Oil Mixed Tocopherols –NON-GMO Certified, *Denotes Organic, +Sustainably Wild Harvested

Along with the Blue Tansy we have some of my favorite ingredients, but let’s check out these two.

Marula Oil – Rich in fatty acids Omega 6 & 9, this oil deeply hydrates and reduces redness. Along with many other benefits it nourishes the skin improving skin elasticity.

Rosehip Oil – One of the best ingredients in skincare…it hydrates, it heals, it helps with signs of aging and pigmentation. This oil is filled with vitamins, antioxidants, and fatty acids.

I went all in with KHUS+KHUS and I’m so glad I did. I didn’t need extra layers of toners and essences like I had been so accustomed to and you know what else? I ditched eye cream, EYE CREAM! I was able to take SANS AGE Face Serum up around my eyes with no irritation at all. My skin is bright, nourished, and simply put…happy.
