Finding the right protein can be a bit daunting. I’ve tried a lot in my time to say the least. If you watch my stories you’ll notice I use the same one EVERY day because I haven’t found anything that has the quality ingredients that are a must AND tastes good. This past week I’ve been testing out @moonjuiceshop Vanilla Mushroom Protein* powder in a slew of different smoothies and I even made Carrot Cake Protein Balls that were amaze-balls (bad pun I know). With Moon Juice Protein I didn’t have to add in my additional Cordyceps and Reishi like before. Let’s take a closer look at Reishi and why I’m down with #thefungus… Reishi is known for many health benefits including but not all:

I like the taste of this powder, it’s not overly sweet which I appreciate since I like frozen banana/fruits in my smoothies. Also, no chalky aftertaste found here ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ. I plan to work more this week with recipes since we love on the go snacks that are healthy and beneficial. I’ll add the carrot cake recipe to my blog post and others as I make them.
